Der WingMan G4 ist ein tolles Gerät

Der WingMan G4 ist ein tolles Gerät, alles funktioniert einwandfrei, ich eine klare Kaufempfehlung geben.
Tracker mit Diebstahlwarnung top sowie die Aufzeichnung der Fahrt.
Genau so hab ich mir es vorgestellt.
Ich hatte mich ursprünglich für den WingMan Easy entschieden, mit dem war ich nicht zufrieden da er meine Vorstellungen nicht erfüllt hat.
Der Tausch gegen den WingMan G4 war für mich die richtige Entscheidung.
Somit von mir 5 Sterne für den WM G4

Ein super Teil

Ein super Teil, klein aber fein. Zeigt alles an. Ich hatte vor kurzen einige längere Fahrten durchgeführt und bin begeistert, was der WingMan alles analysiert. Teilstrecken, Neigungswinkel, Geschwindigkeit usw. Alles in allem hervorragend, deshalb für mich 5 Sterne.

How it works

The RideLink system is set up in just a few minutes and works reliably in any vehicle.

Prepare the RideLink WingMan

Install and set up the RideLink app from the App Store. Then connect the RideLink WingMan to the app using the QR code.

That completes the first step.

Install the RideLink WingMan in the vehicle

The WingMan is very compact and fits into any motorcycle. It is connected either directly to the 12 V battery or to the OBD2 interface using a suitable cable.

Standby power consumption is so low that it protects the motorcycle battery. WingMan sends a battery status update every 24 hours.

Depending on your skill level, the second step takes 5 to 15 minutes.

Use the RideLink WingMan

After successful setup, the system is ready to use. The first tracking session can be started immediately after installation and commissioning.

All settings can be changed at any time in the RideLink app.

What is GPS tracking?

When you buy a GPS tracker for a motorcycle, it is important to understand how GPS tracking works.

GPS stands for “Global Positioning System” and is based on satellite technology. A GPS tracker does not need a mobile data connection or Wi-Fi to determine its location. Satellites send signals to ground stations, which forward them to your GPS device. By using several satellites, the exact location can be determined.

The location data is then usually sent via the mobile network to a server and displayed in the app or on a user interface. A high-quality motorcycle GPS tracker should use GPS-based positioning and not rely only on mobile networks or Wi-Fi. This allows the tracker to determine the location of a stolen motorcycle even when the mobile network is weak. A combination of GPS, mobile network and Wi-Fi provides even better coverage.

Can I cancel monthly?

Yes, you can choose between a monthly subscription and an annual subscription. The annual subscription saves about 50% compared with the monthly price.

Is the SIM included in the price?

Yes, the data connection for GPS tracking and eCall is included in the subscription.

Does WingMan drain my motorcycle battery?

WingMan has very low power consumption in standby mode. For longer periods of parking, such as winter storage, the battery should be disconnected or a charger should be used.
