What is an accident detector?

An accident notification system is an intelligent safety system for motorcycles that automatically detects falls or serious accidents and organises help independently in an emergency. Modern systems use integrated motion sensors, gyroscopes and GPS technology to reliably identify sudden changes in position, strong vibrations or impacts. If an accident is detected, an emergency routine starts automatically – including location transmission and notification of defined contacts or an emergency call centre.

An automatic accident notification system is particularly important for motorcyclists. Unlike cars, there is no protective bodywork or standard eCall systems. If a fall occurs on a remote route or during a solo ride, valuable time can pass before help arrives. A GPS-supported accident notification system transmits the exact location in a matter of seconds, thus significantly shortening the reaction time of rescue workers.

An accident notification system is therefore more than just a technical feature – it is an active contribution to your personal safety. It ensures that you are not alone in an emergency and that help is automatically alerted, even if you are no longer able to act yourself.

Accident Reporter explained in 2 minutes

The accident reporter works fully automatically and independently of your smartphone. If the system detects a possible accident, the emergency call center first tries to reach you. If you cannot be reached, the relevant rescue services are still alerted and your position is transmitted. You can cancel a false alarm at any time via the app or by phone.

What is a motorcycle accident detector?

An accident detector is an intelligent emergency call system that automatically detects falls or serious accidents and independently organizes help. Integrated sensors and GPS determine your exact location and transmit it to an emergency service or defined contacts in an emergency.

How does an automatic motorcycle emergency call system (eCall) work?

The accident detector continuously monitors movement data such as acceleration, change in position, and impact forces while driving. If the system detects a typical accident pattern, an emergency call is automatically triggered – including precise GPS position data. This way, quick help can be organized, even if you are no longer able to react yourself.

Why is an accident detection system particularly important for motorcyclists?

Unlike cars, motorcycles generally do not have a standard eCall system. In the event of a fall on remote routes, valuable time can pass before help arrives. A GPS accident detector significantly shortens the rescue chain and increases survival chances in an emergency.

Can the motorcycle still be tracked if it's taken abroad?

Yes. Modern GPS anti-theft alarms use mobile communication and satellite tracking, allowing them to track the location even outside national borders – a decisive advantage over local Bluetooth trackers.

Is the emergency call triggered automatically?

Yes. As soon as a serious accident is detected, the system automatically initiates the emergency routine. The goal is maximum safety with minimal false alarms.

Does the accident detector work when driving alone?

That's exactly what it was developed for. Especially on solo tours, in mountainous regions, or on less-traveled roads, the automatic emergency call ensures that you don't go undiscovered.

Is my location transmitted accurately?

Yes. The accident detector uses GPS technology to determine your exact location in real-time. The coordinates are transmitted directly to the emergency services or stored contacts – for a quick and precise rescue.

Does the accident detector require a subscription?

A cellular connection is required to transmit the location data. Therefore, a subscription is necessary to enable data communication and connection to the emergency call structure.

Can I also trigger an emergency call manually?

Additionally, a manual emergency call can be triggered via the app. This way, you can actively request help in medical emergencies or other dangerous situations.
